In addition to original research, we accept the following types of scientific publications: review article; clinical case study; clinical trial; perspective, opinion, and commentary; book review.

REVIEW TYPE − double "blind". Editors do not disclose information about the manuscript (including information about its receipt, content, review process, reviewers' critical remarks, and final conclusion) to anyone other than the authors and reviewers themselves. Violation of confidentiality is possible only in the case of a statement of inaccuracy or falsification of materials, in all other cases, its preservation is mandatory.

INDEXATION OF A SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL

Indexing expresses the subject of a document through its analysis and thus makes it possible to find in a catalog all the documents which deal with a given subject whatever the medium.

We are a member of Crossref, an international organization of scientific publishers that links journal content to a global network of online scientific research (currently more than 15,000 other member organizations from 140 countries). The Crossref citation database covers more than 75 million scientific publications.

Crossref is all about rallying the scholarly community to work together. Reference linking is an obligation for all Crossref members and for all current journal content.

At the request of the author of his article, a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is assigned. He can follow a link from a list of links to other full-text documents, networking and sharing ideas and knowledge with scholars from around the world: using DOI makes it easy to find, cite, reference, evaluate and reuse research objects.

DOI prefix of the scientific journal publishing house − 10.56378. You can always check the registration of issues or individual articles on the official DOI website.

The scientific journal is indexed at the National Library of France (BnF), which relies on several document indexing repositories and situates indexing in a broader and more structured data ecosystem through the introduction of resources with their associated metadata.

The journal is indexed in International Scientific Indexing (ISI), whose server provides indexing of major international journals and materials.

The ISI aims to be comprehensive and cover all open access scientific and scholarly journals that use an appropriate quality control system, and it will not be limited to particular languages or subject areas.

The journal is indexed in The Keepers, a global infrastructure for the long-term archiving of e-journals and other continuing resources.

The journal's publications are registered in ROAD, a directory of open scientific resources supported by UNESCO's Communication and Information Sector.

All journal articles are indexed in Google Scholar and ACADEMIA.
https://istse-jaeger.com/index.php/istse/article/view/98 COLONIZING MARS: BETWEEN DISTANT DREAM AND SCIENTIFIC REALITY 2025-06-27T13:26:32+00:00 Jules Guilbaud jules.guilbaud.jg2@gmail.com
The objective of this research is to determine whether the colonization of Mars is a realistic ambition, or a distant dream fuelled by scientific innovation and collective imagination. The Research Methodology. The methodology is based on a literature review, critical analysis, and theoretical projection. The Scientific Contribution of this study lies in its critical and realistic approach to Martian colonization, in contrast with many existing publications that focus primarily on technological feasibility or adopt an overly optimistic tone. This research offers an interdisciplinary analysis that integrates technical, ethical, and societal dimensions, emphasizing that the colonization of Mars remains a long-term prospect. It also highlights the gap between visionary discourse and the concrete limitations identified in recent scientific literature. The Conclusion. Long-term colonization of Mars is possible. It is an ambitious project aimed at ensuring human survival and exploring new worlds. Mars offers potentially beneficial conditions, but many technical obstacles remain. Temporary human presence is a short-term possibility. Terraforming is not yet achievable. Colonization raises ethical and social questions. It remains a long-term prospect, serving as a driver of innovation and international cooperation, but should not distract from urgent challenges on Earth.
2025-07-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jules Guilbaud
